Andy Gray is a graduate of the Royal Northern College of Music. He currently holds the post of 2nd Trumpet for the world famous Syd Lawrence Orchestra, as well as playing freelance for the Ian Pearce Big Band, the Jeff Short Big Band, the National Youth Jazz Orchestra, Big Band Metheney and the Glenn Miller Memorial Orchestra.
Andy also has extensive experience playing in West End and UK touring musicals such as Fame, Saturday Night Fever, Dancing in the Streets, Billy Elliott, Cabaret, The Rat Pack, Evita, Joseph, West Side Story and Cabaret. Andy has also played on an enormous variety of commercial recordings covering a wide range of styles and genres.
