24 year old Atar is a writer, arranger, multi-instrumentalist and producer who leads his own 15 piece band 'Atar & The Funkadrome' signed to D records and Notting Hill Music Publishing). Their album 'Funkadrome' is out now. He also writes for his own Jazz/Fusion Orchestra consisting of between 60 and 70 musicians.
He is a classically trained musician with a Masters in Jazz from The Guildhall School of Music and Drama. In 2006 he set up Funkadrome Productions. As an Arranger he works with varied artists in all genres and is heavily influenced by Quincy Jones, Lalo Schifrin and Vince Mendoza.
