Dave grew up in Cornwall and studied horn at Wells Cathedral School and Royal College of Music as an Alice Templeton Scholar. He has played several shows including White Christmas, Carousel, Cabaret, West Side Story, Thursford Christmas Spectacular and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
Dave has performed and recorded with a diversity of artists including McFly, The Killers, Jeremy Warmsley, Leona Lewis, Estelle, Lemar, Chris de Burgh, Il Divo, Paul Potts, Natasha Marsh, Katherine Jenkins, Atilla, Johnny Vaughan and Floella Benjamin. He has toured concert halls, theatres and arenas as well as performing on radio and television programs including BBC Radio 3, Classic FM, Blue Peter, Songs of Praise, ITV Record Of The Year, Comic Relief, Top Of The Pops, CD:UK, Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Take Away, Live @ Abbey Road, Richard & Judy, Smash Hits Poll Winners Party and Strictly Come Dancing.
Classically, he has played at the Edinburgh Fringe, Battersea Arts, Bergen International, English Music, Roxburgh and Al Bustan Festivals. Dave works around Europe with Stavanger Symfoniorkester, Philharmonia, New Professionals, Pegasus Opera, Opera de Baugé, Young Janáček Philharmonic Orchestra, The Opera Group and The Bourne Orchestra.
