Doug Grannell

Composer

Doug's varied background from symphonic classical to jazz and contemporary electronic music provides him with enormous artistic resources both as a sought after performer in the UK and Europe (including such productions as The Rocky Horror Show and Miss Saigon), and as a versatile composer.

His original music for film ranges from darkly sinister orchestral to modern pop to innovative soundscapes. Influences include Danny Elfman, Don Davis, Elliot Goldenthal and Peter Gabriel, though Doug strives to achieve a unique voice in an industry crowded with copycats and sound-alikes.

In addition to film, Doug is also interested in working on theatre, dance, video games and other multimedia projects.
