Jean Paul “JP” Gervasoni is a graduate of the Royal College of Music, and Trinity College of Music, where he won an Archer Scholarship. JP is carving out an enviable reputation as a stylish and powerful trumpet player, and has featured on lead and solo trumpet chairs for the Brit Award winning McFly, the Ronnie Scott Big Band, the Jay Craig Big Band, the Steve Taylor Tribute to Buddy Rich, Winston Rollins’ Big Band the Alpine Big Band, the National Youth Jazz Orchestra, the Bridge, Alpha Connection, the Ian Pearce Big Band, the Jimmy Cannon Big Band, plus touring musical experience with Fame, West Side Story, History of Motown and the Blues Brothers Tribute. His classical experience includes the National Musicians Symphony Orchestra and the Britten-Pears Orchestra.
