Nik Carter studied at Trinity College of Music. He started playing the clarinet at the age of 8 and moved onto the saxophone at the age of 12. At the age of 16 he guested with NYJO and after continued rehearsals got a tenor chair once he was living in London.
Now aged 21, Nik is currently on tour with British pop artist Lily Allen. With Lily Nik has appeared on V Festival Live, Tara Ta Ta!, Popworld on T4, Jimmy Kemble - American chat show, Top Of The Pops, and Later with Jools Holland on the 2007 Hootenanny special.
Nik has toured extensively America, New Zealand, Australia, Japan and Europe. This year Nik will appear along side Lily on the Mainstage at Glastonbury.
