Pablo Mendelssohn is a graduate of Trinity College of Music, where he received a BMus Hons in Jazz. Pablo’s theatre work includes Zorro the Musical at the Garrick Theatre London, the UK tour of 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang', Rodgers and Hart's 'Babes in Arms' at the Festival Theatre as part of The Chichester Festival 2007,Irving Berlin's White Christmas at The Mayflower Southampton, Rodgers and Hammerstein's 'Carousel' at Chichester Festival 2006, Fame UK Tour and Irving Berlin's 'Annie Get Your Gun' UK Tour. He has also depped on Oliver, Hairspray, Wicked, Spamalot, Grease, Fiddler on the Roof Fame, Dancing in the Streets, The Rat Pack and Simply Heavenly.
Pablo’s pop work includes the Johnny Mathis UK Tour 2006, Gladys Knight UK Tour 2006, Four Tops and Temptations UK tour 2008, 2007 and 2005. He has also played for Tom Jones, Shirley Bassey, Tony Bennett, Paul McCartney, Steve Winwood, Ray Davies, Will Young, Emma Bunton, S Club Seven, Atomic Kitten, Blue, Miss Teeq. Mario Grillo, Tito Rodriguez Jr and Tito Puente Jr. Pablo appeared on television playing on John Barrowman's Tonight's the Night and in the Queens Jubilee Concert- Buckingham Palace 2002.
His freelance work also includes working with the Syd Lawrence Orchestra, Glenn Miller Orchestra UK, Back to Basie, London Jazz Orchestra, Tom Richards Jazz Orchestra, John Bennet Big Band, Renegade Big Band, Young Guns Big Band, James OCarrol Big Band,Royal Showdown,Trinity College of Music Big Band, and the National Youth Jazz Orchestra.
